Fucked up something in my car the fan now makes a loud noise. Do not do this unless you know what you are doing. I think it sucked up a small amount of the paper towel i was using to wipe up the residual.

How has this cluster lens aged over the years? Did the polish have any aging/yellowing effects on the lens?

Mark, do you think this will fix a TransFail Safe Prog message. Scan tool says P0732 Gear 2 Incorrect Ratio. It won't shift into 2nd gear and then go into Transfail Safe Mode and stays in 5th gear.

I found it easier to take that brass fitting off by pushing it up towards the stop then use a very small flathead screwdriver to get in front of the collar and you can slide it right off.

question;; I have a 1999 bmw 528i, about 170,000 miles. i just started having issue with i hope is the oxygen sensors, Can you tell me, are the 2 you replaced both the same sensors? if not can you tell me what i need to get, thx in advance

on my car, turned out that just the cable balljoint came off 😂 i've put a zip tie to make sure it doesn't come off again. thanks for the instructions @bimmerzeitt! very helpful, only thing i was missing is that for the top clips on the doorcard (just under the window) i needed to really put pressure towards the inside of the car to get the doorcard off

Does this mean every time the 4x4 light comes on it’s the transfer case motor gear that needs changing ? If yes I don’t necessarily have to buy the whole transfer case right?

Thank you! I thought I'd need the dash cluster for $1,500, but it seemed weird that the warning/computer display worked perfectly and the top row was almost completely dark. I just swapped uppers for lowers before spending any money and mileage now shows but warnings don't. I just need a few new bulbs and another ten minutes to fix it.

I did a 9/10 job. I kind of ducked up at the end with the coating. First off people please use the glove. I didn’t and my hand is sticky af even after washing with soap and even spraying some of that spray provided in the kit. Second be generous with the coating on the paper towel. I wasn’t so I went over it again and it just smeared. I wasted like half the bottle on one headlight trying to correct it😂. The second headlight was a breeze after learning from my mistake. Also how do I remove that the coating from my hand? Asking for a friend.

the fan motor axle was rusty, putting some lubricant was probably needed, finally we did not see the problem since you did not demonstrate the fan motor rotation and speed before and after

I followed this video step by step. Once the new battery was in the vehicle started and drove immediately. I then used the very same foxwell as in this video to register the battery. It said the registration was successful. Now the car won’t start at all. The battery is clearly working because the light, radio, etc. are working. The car simply won’t start now. Any idea why is this might be happening?
